A dabble in Lightroom

I recently picked up Lightroom and had a crack at editing some photos Lauren took up at the Lake.

They were shot on a Holga 135BC, a Lomography camera with unpredictable results - light leaks, vibrant hues and a permanent vignette.

My favourite is this funky double exposure - both because of the contrasting subject matter, and the challenge it posed in the editing bay. Achieving a balanced exposure between the two images was the biggest issue. I found a new technique which allowed me to edit specific parts of the image seperately - using graduated and radial filters. I love finding those little tricks! Anyway I'm happy with how it turned out.

I can't wait to get my hands on my next rolls of film and give them the same treatment!
